Vintage Roots Terms & Conditions

Statutory Rights :
These terms and conditions offer you additional protection and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Alcohol and the Law :
Under UK law, we are unable to sell alcoholic drinks for consumption by anyone under the age of 18. When you place an order for alcohol with Vintage Roots, you are confirming that you are at least 18 years old and that you will not provide alcohol to be consumed by anyone under the age of 18.

Substitute :
If an item you ordered is out of stock, a substitute may be used to complete an order. A member of staff will endeavour to contact you to explain the situation and, where necessary, discuss the possible alternatives. In the absence of instructions to the contrary, an appropriate substitute will be made, providing we are confident that it is of either equal or greater value as the item ordered.

Damaged or Missing Items :
If, upon delivery, any goods are missing or damaged you must report this to us within 3 days of receipt. Please open and examine cases on arrival and indicate any problems on the carrier's sheet.

Cancellation & Returns :
You may cancel your order within 7 days of the goods being delivered. All goods must be returned to Vintage Roots, unopened and undamaged. Once the goods are returned, the appropriate sum will be refunded. If you have not returned the goods within 14 days of cancellation, Vintage Roots reserves the right to subtract the costs of collection from the refund.

VAT :
Value Added Tax at the current rate is included in the price.

Data Protection :
Information is held for the purpose of maintaining customer records, and Vintage Roots undertakes to discharge its duties under current legislation.

Please contact us giving full details on the matter and we will respond to you as quickly as we can.

Delivery :
Vintage Roots delivers to the UK only. Residents of the Scottish Highlands must order a minimum of 12 bottles of wine, liqueurs and / or spirits to receive standard charges. Regrettably, deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Northern Ireland will incur a surcharge. Deliveries are made during office hours from Monday to Friday only.
