Cancellation, Returns and Refunds :
Please check your goods upon receiving them - responsibility of them becomes the customer's upon delivery. If they are not what you ordered please notify me within 7 days. Likewise, if in the unlikely event the goods are damaged, defective or missing items I will be happy to provide replacement only if I am notified within 7 days of delivery in writing or by email - the company policy being to replace faulty or missing items.

If you wish to return goods this has to be done within 7 working days from receipt of the items, they must be returned using recorded or registered delivery and the costs of return postage and packaging are the customer's responsibility in accordance with distance selling regulations.

For items personalised or made up to a customer's specification I am unable to accept returns or refund. This is in accordance with distance selling regulations. If either of these apply, you can contact me by telephone or fax on 01673 828986 (Mon - Fri, 8am - 2pm) or by email at rachelmdenton@stcuthbertshouse.co.uk If you need to return an item then please contact me by email or telephone (as above) & I will provide you with all the necessary information.

You will be responsible for the item or items until they reach me.
For your own protection, I suggest you use a secure delivery method that requires a signature upon delivery such as Royal Mail First Class (Recorded Delivery).

Complaints:
I welcome all feedback and will endeavour to deal with any problems experienced by my customers within five working days.

Products:
Each card is printed individually, by order - I do not hold cards in stock. I like to wait a couple of days for the ink to dry completely before overprinting (if required), and again before folding and finishing, so it can take up to a week before an order is ready for despatch. All pictures are only representations and items may vary from this. As all products are hand finished part of the unique and special qualities of them is that no two pieces may be exactly the same.

Delivery:
We only deliver to mainland UK at present. For orders outside mainland UK please contact us via email or telephone (see Contact Details below).

We aim to despatch orders by post or courier on the same day that the order is received if possible. However, as we make everything ourselves by hand it may take up to 5 days for orders to be despatched. Orders received on Friday will not usually be sent until Monday as this prevents your chocolate waiting in a post room over the weekend. We are unable to deliver on national or Bank Holidays.

In very hot weather we reserve the right to delay sending your order until the weather has improved to avoid your chocolate melting in transit. In these circumstances you will be contacted by email or telephone and given the option to cancel your order or to wait for conditions to improve. If you wish us to send your order despite the hot weather we can do so, but in these circumstances we cannot accept liability for damage or loss.

Despatch Information:
I aim to despatch orders within one week by post.
I am unable to deliver on national or Bank holidays.

Receiving Your Order:
Please ensure that somebody is available to receive your parcel, unless special delivery instructions have been entered into the checkout section of the site. If the post office is unable to deliver your goods, you should be able to arrange for redelivery or to pick them up from the local postal delivery office.

Tax Charges:
All prices shown include VAT at 15% where applicable.
